What data do we process about our visitors?

If you download the Textpal app you agree to provide us with your email address to allow us to contact you and for us to use your texting facility to utilise available texts from within your bundle to earn rewards. Texts will be sent to standard priced mobile number, generally free in bundles, or within bundles. No texts are sent for marketing purposes or to be received by actual individuals.

If you contact our Customer Services team, we will need your telephone number and your email address as well as full details of your query.

We hold minimal data on you, simply telephone number, mobile network operator, and email address, which we will not share with third parties.

What do we use this data for?

All data is used for the general running of the service, to enable us to accrue credit against your relevant details, and, in regard to email, to enable us to communicate any changes in terms and conditions, or with regard to the general running of the service.

From time to time we may contact you by push notification to give you service information. This may be via SMS or email. We also may contact you to inform of any changes in the terms of the service.

We will only use your personal data for the purpose of maintaining a seamless service, and feeding any information you provide back to our website or app if we have your specific consent to do so.

We only use your information to successfully run the service seamlessly.

We will keep your information only for as long as it is relevant and useful for the purpose for which it was originally collected.

General regulation requests that data is stored only for the purpose of the service running.

Who will we share your personal information with?

We do not share data with third parties and your texts are housed via a secure data management platform.  Third parties are not able to access this data.

We reserve the right to disclose your personal information to comply with applicable laws and government or regulatory bodies’ lawful requests for information. However, if you request to cease service and delete data we will do so.

We may also have to release information because of a legal requirement on us or pursuant to a court order.

We may transfer, sell or assign any of the information described in this Privacy Notice to third parties as a result of a sale, merger, consolidation, change of control, transfer of assets or reorganisation of our business.

We do not aim our services to anyone under the age of 16.
